Custom Plush Toys
The other day I was looking for something online and it was driving me absolutely crazy that I couldn't find pricing on a lot of the sites. Of course, this got me to think about things with my own site. I get a lot of emails regarding custom toys so I thought I'd post some FAQs about them here. I hope this information is helpful!
Do you make custom stuffed animals?
How much do they cost?
I always get asked this one and without any information from you, it's a tough one to answer! First, I would need to know what you'd like made. The price will depend on the size (within reason of course), materials and most importantly.... the complexity of the design.
Generally the custom OOAK (one of a kind) toys start at $150.00 USD for something really simple and can go up to $700.00 USD or more.
Again, it all depends on what you'd like me to make.
It can, yes! This is an extremely time consuming process. Aside from making the actual toy, I also need to source out fabrics, draft the patterns, make a mock up sample and send you progress pictures of your toy. Some projects have taken me few days from start to finish while others I've spent well over 100 hours.
The best thing is to send me an image. If you don't have a picture, a detailed description of what you'd like would work too!
I tend to go overboard with getting all of the details on the toy so if you'd like to stay within a certain price range, let me know. I can see if there's a way to simplify things without taking away too much.
I require at least a 50% deposit to begin working on your toy.
